Getting Started

Wumeric is a personal finance app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It helps you track accounts, categorize transactions, set budgets, and understand your net worth — all in one place, with your data stored securely on your device.
Download Wumeric from the App Store and open it. On first launch you'll be prompted to add your first account — checking, savings, credit card, or whatever you'd like to track. From there, start adding transactions and building your category structure.
Yes. Wumeric is free to download and use. The free plan supports up to 3 accounts and 1 database — plenty to get started. Upgrading to Pro unlocks unlimited accounts and multiple databases.
02

Accounts

You can track any account type — checking, savings, credit cards, investment accounts, loans, mortgages, cash, and more. Each account has a type that affects how balances are calculated in your net worth summary.
Open the account, tap the reconcile button in the toolbar, and enter your statement balance. Wumeric will show you which transactions need to be marked as cleared to match your statement. Mark them off one by one until the difference reaches zero.
Wumeric currently uses a single currency setting per database. Multi-currency support is on our roadmap for a future update.
03

Transactions

Yes. When adding or editing a transaction, tap Split to divide it across as many categories as you need. Each split line has its own category and amount. This is useful for grocery runs, receipts with different expense types, and more.
You can set up recurring rules for any transaction — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. When a scheduled transaction is due, it appears in the Scheduler view for you to confirm before it's added. This keeps your books accurate without unexpected automatic entries.
When adding a transaction, select Transfer as the type. Choose the source and destination accounts. Wumeric creates a matching transaction in both accounts and links them, so your net worth stays accurate.

Security & Privacy

🚫
Privacy Guarantee
Wumeric collects zero data about you or your finances.
No analytics. No third-party tracking SDKs. No crash reporters phoning home. Your financial data is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to Wumeric's servers — or anyone else's.
Your financial data is stored in a local database on your device. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or enable iCloud backup — in which case it is stored in your personal iCloud account, not on Wumeric's servers. Wumeric has no backend, no user accounts, and no servers that could receive your data.
You can enable App Lock in Settings. Once enabled, Wumeric requires Face ID, Touch ID, or a password to open. The lock screen appears automatically when your device sleeps or the app moves to the background — so your data is always protected, even if someone picks up your phone.
No — none, ever. Wumeric does not collect, transmit, or analyze any of your financial data. The app contains no analytics trackers, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party frameworks that could access your information. Your data is yours alone.
05

Data & Export

Yes. You can export your data as a QIF file (compatible with most desktop finance apps), as a PDF report, or as the raw database file. Go to Settings → Export to access all export options.
Yes, Wumeric supports importing QIF files. Most desktop finance apps (Quicken, GnuCash, MoneyMoney, and others) can export to QIF. Go to Settings → Import QIF to get started.
Deleting the app removes your local database. Please ensure you have previously exported to QIF or exported your database to preserve your data.
Wumeric works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with Designed for iPad.
